On September 22-23 and October 1, 2004, Sears installed double-paned windows on our house. We wish to recognize and extend our appreciation to several individuals in your Sacramento office who helped make this project successful.
Ken Small, Home Improvement Specialist, who had worked with us on a previous window project, spent time with us setting up the paperwork for the project. Even though he was no longer in windows, Ken agreed to work with us because of our prior experience together. He was very patient and thorough in providing us a complete estimate and explaining the process to us. He was also conscientious in responding to our followup phone calls and answering our questions.
When we had questions about the GECAP financing terms, Andre Vierra, District Manager contacted the appropriate offices to confirm the status and conditions of our contract and he faxed us a confirmation of our account. Even though this took several phone calls, Mr. Vierra kept following-up until he was able to get us a satisfactory answer to our question. It worked. Although we have already made one payment, the statement we received from GECAP stated 0% interest and no payment due until July 2005. Brent Davis, Project Coordinator, was very helpful and worked with us on all the scheduling aspects of the project. When two of the windows had to be re-ordered because of a manufacturing error. Mr. Davis got this done as quickly as possible and worked with us on scheduling a follow-up installation date that met with our plans. When talking to us, he was always very professional.
Slav, who came to measure the windows was on time, polite and knowledgeable about the window installation process. He answered our questions and made sure he brought back to the office the necessary information to order the new windows. The installer, Yuriy, came to our house promptly, as scheduled. He worked very hard, with minimal or no breaks, and installed the windows carefully. He paid special attention to the detail work and cleaned up when he was finished.
We are very happy with our new windows and the individuals named above and others in the office were very professional and provided us with excellent customer service. Thank you for your hard work.

I had replacement windows done in 2004 by Sears, and I could not be more pleased. I would like you to know that the employees that were sent to my home could not have been more professional. When they called and said they would be here, they were here at that exact time. An impulsive letter to thank you for my new lease on life! At 89 it has come late, never-the-less WELCOME!
Today, at 89, I looked at a whole new life through our new Sears windows!
No drapes, no shades, just an expanse portrait of the Spring buds in the tree outside the window - the birds at their feeders, squirrels chasing each other - all which had been hidden by heavily placed drapes and shades (holding out the chill and drafts).
Now, I look forward to my morning breakfast at the window - undraped- enjoying the nature, changing day by day.

On June 3rd and 5th of 2005 I had all new windows installed in my home. They are beautiful and I will probably never leave my house again (not really). What I am writing about is the installers that you sent me to do the job. I understand that you have an award for the “Installer of the Year”. I would like to nominate Yu-Go-Remodeling for that award. Darko Temunovic, general manager, was awesome. When they arrived it became very apparent that this was not going to be their normal install job. My house is a 1940's house where the windows are welded to a plate that sets down into the plaster. Anyway, they tackled the job instead of throwing their hands up and walking away. Thank you Lord!!
On Saturday, I had to go to work but when they left Friday I showed them where the key was (which I never ever do) in case they could come back while I was gone to work. They could have walked in and wiped me out but they didn't. That was a big deal for me. And on Sunday they were here bright and early to finish the job. They cleaned up as if they had never been here. And to boot, they always kept me informed of what was going on and what needed to be done. These guys are professional with a high degree of quality. The Sears windows are beautiful. They can install anything in my home any time they want to. Thank you.

On December 6th, 2005, I had installed eleven windows to my DW mobile home. I have never been more pleased with a group of professionals and am happy with their job! I am writing to show my appreciation for Henry and his crew. I want to let you know how much we appreciate the great job they did on our windows. They worked hard to get the job completed, and we know it wasn't an easy job as they had to cut each of our windows into pieces to remove them. As I watched them, I wondered how they would be able to install the new windows and make them look like they were the original windows, but they did so. I believe they even look better than the original ones! Henry and his crew were concerned about our furniture and carpet, not wanting to get anything dirty. They cleaned everything, even the yard. My wife and I are very pleased with the job and the way it looked when they finished. If I were to have another job done in the future, I would ask Henry and his crew to complete the job. I wanted to take a few minutes to express to you how pleased I am on the way in which your staff and colleagues performed in the installation of Replacement Windows at our home. I want you to know that after all that I have read in our local paper about home improvement contractors, I approached this exercise with skepticism and concern.
The first person that I met was Mr. Sylva K. Ibenana who wanted to be sure that I knew everything I needed to know in order to make an informed decision. Mr. Ibenana arrived at 6:00 pm and at 9:00 pm I had to put him out because “CSI” was coming on and replacement windows do not hold my attention the way Crime Scene Investigation does. Sorry for the slight. I did offer to pick up the discussion at 10:00 but then “Without a Trace” was coming up and that would have presumed a discussion resuming at 11:00 pm. Mr. Ibenana opted to return the next day at 7:00 am to resume the paperwork and that worked well. The next person to show up was Mr. Jason Stutts who through this process was stellar with his telephone calls and project coordination skills. I know more about my windows than I do about my house. Please send a job application. I think I am ready to go to work. Finally, the installation crew was fantastic! They showed up on time and were so dedicated to their job. They cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned up stuff that we had lingering around in the yard since our July 4th barbeque. Though my comments may be humorous, our sentiments and thanks are sincere. Our gratitude and kudos go out to Sears.

The purpose of this letter is to commend Mr. Charles Mantooth and his team of assistants for the fine work they did installing a stormbreaker window at our Sun Harbor condominium in Port Isabel on Saturday, August 19, 2006. It was a difficult and challenging project requiring the installation of the heavy, dormer replacement window some 20 feet up a vertical inside wall. The opening was only accessible from the outside by a short, slanted spanish tile roof, covering our 3rd floor outside balcony --overlooked by the dormer window. Mr. Mantooth and his crew used a great deal of imagination and professionalism in arriving at a plan to get the replacement window in the proper position without the use of scaffolding and other aids for lifting the heavy window in place. I won't go into the details, since you would want to hear it from Charles first hand - that's the "rest of the story".
We are very pleased with our Sears windows and patio doors and especially the professionalism of the installers, past and most recent. It would be appreciated if you would appropriately recognize Mr. Mantooth and his assistants for their commendable performance.

I would like to bring to your attention an associate, Marlene Fuery who was instrumental in bringing the hurricane window installation process to a completion. Marlene made an unpleasant waiting experience with permits, planning and installation a pleasant one.
Without her tenacious and common courtesy to me as property manager, I would not have believed this job would ever come to completion. The whole process from the permit to installation took five months. During the last two months, I would continuously call Marlene asking if the permit was ready and gracefully she would tell me Sears had worked on it, but the City of Boca was the hold up. Every time I called, Marlene would always give me the most up to date information and kept me calm while making sure I was well taken care of. I'm sure she sensed my impatience on a weekly basis. I also deal with customers and subcontractors and know what it takes to provide critical customer service to the public. Marlene stood right by my side and if she had heard anything that day, she would always relay a message to me keeping me "hopeful". In the long run, I believe Marlene has extended her customer service skills and exemplified her graciousness all within every conversation.
I wanted to especially thank Marlene and let you know how much I enjoyed her as a service representative for Sears. As I look forward to purchasing a new garage door, I now think of Sears to provide that special kind of service. Thank you for your special employee and for the fantastic installation job! It came out impeccable! It was well worth the time and patience.

I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Sears - particularly from Tom Salomone, Kathy Kaler and Anthony Millazzi. When my husband and I decided to purchase windows for our new home we inquired about the cost and installation at a number of establishments. I then received an email stating that I was eligible for a free in home estimate through Sears. I immediately scheduled the appointment with the intention of simply getting information.
When Tom, the sales representative came to my home he was welcoming, warm and precise. Instead of feeling as though we were being pressured into making a purchase we felt as though we were being educated.
Since having the home, we have had a number of renovations, from carpet installation to complete bathroom remodeling. We have had a number of sales representatives in our home. Most have been pushy and obnoxious to the point that we decided not to deal with their company. Tom made us feel as though he was trying to help us make the best decisions for our lifestyle and needs.
After agreeing to have the windows and one door installed, we made an appointment with Anthony to have the windows re-measured. Because both my husband and I have very demanding occupations, scheduling is always extremely difficult. Anthony made all accommodations to schedule the appointment in a time that was conducive for us. When Anthony and his crew came to install the windows, they were remarkably professional. They were punctual and exceeded all my expectations.
They laid down drop cloth throughout the entire house and picked up and vacuumed any remaining residue. They ensured at the end of their job that we were satisfied. Anthony walked us around the entire house to make sure there were no remains and nothing additional we wanted or needed done to the windows and surrounding areas. After, he took us to each of the windows to make sure that we understood how it opened and closed and how we could clean it. Immediately before leaving he made sure that we had the number to Sears to contact if we had any questions or concerns regarding our windows.
When calling to schedule our appointments I spoke with Kathy Kaler. Kathy was very pleasant and welcoming. She did everything she could to make sure that she scheduled our appointments in the times I requested. Overall, the service was superb to say the least. We would definitely recommend Sears - particularly Anthony and his crew to anyone we know who is in search of a professional window installation job.

I am writing you this email on behalf of Anthony's crew. On September 7, 2007, I had all my windows (25) installed. I must say that Anthony's crew were phenomenal. They worked diligently and consistently in an effort to complete this big job in one day and were able to accomplish it. Anthony must be one of the nicest persons I have ever met. He made sure that I was satisfied with everything. He obliged me when I asked that they keep the house clean and to avoid damaging my flower beds. I must say, cleaning my house after 25 windows required only minimal effort on my part and my flower beds remain as they were. The crew were professional, knowledgeable and one could tell immediately that they knew what they were doing. They left no debris or garbage, whatsoever. I am truly satisfied with my windows. When I decide to purchase vinyl siding, I will be sure to do it with Sears. I would also like to request Anthony's crew at that time. I just wanted you to know that since the installation of my new windows I received my first electric bill from Bowie-Cass. The amount without my security light included was $48.75. I called Bowie-Cass yesterday and when the lady pulled up my account the first question she asked me was if I had moved and wanted to discontinue service. I laughed outloud and told her that I was not moving and explained about my new windows from Sears. She did some research on my account going back to when I bought the house in October of 2003. I had NEVER had a bill that low and they have had 2 increases since then. She did some figuring and they have lowered my monthly budget payment from $172/mo. to (yes, this is right) $52/mo. I was THRILLED. Thank you Alan and Sears for improving my Quality of Life!
