Apart from our pleasure at the finished product, and our appreciation for your efforts on this project, as well as those of Gary Fiddler, my wife and I would like most to give you our feelings about the installation team, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beall.
Harold and Geri were the very picture of professionalism, technical competence and dedicated, caring people. During the entire ten-day period of this job, they exhibited untiring interest in doing their very best for us and in support for the fine SEARS name. This was our second refacing job, the first one completed in Fairfax, Virginia about ten years ago, so we have some basis for comparison. And, although that earlier job was very well done and was very satisfying, this current effort, by the SEARS Beall team was truly amazing. We can truthfully (and thankfully) say that there was never a segment of the job that was not done with consummate skill, hard work as needed, and dedication. When they found areas where the application of their added interest, concern and effort would produce a truly nice job, as contrasted to merely an ‘adequate' job under the terms of the contract, there was never a question that it would come out to be the ‘best possible'. They worked hard to a standard that surely surpasses anything that SEARS requires - theirs is truly a higher calling and one that must add to the SEARS reputation.

Jeremy Knibbs installed them and not only are the cabinets beautiful, they really exceeded our expectations. In our previous house, we installed custom-made cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would like to thank you personally for the professionalism shown by you and your staff during our project. In particular, I'd like to thank Sophia for her enthusiasm and knowledge of the product. She was a delight to work with. Jim Swann was very knowledgeable in the electrical area and very helpful in getting the electric for my stove relocated. I would like to extend a special thank you to the team of Brian and Justin who came in every day and worked hard for many hours, cleaning up behind themselves as much as possible and for the meticulous work they did on the lamination of my cabinets. Brian especially was very responsive to any requests or suggestions I had and could not let anything go that wasn't quite perfect. As a final note, Brian came back this morning to repair a hinge on one of the cabinet doors. He, unfortunately got caught in a huge backup resulting from an accident on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and called to tell me he would be late. But, he came on in anyway - on a day when he didn't have appointments and didn't have to be there! Please feel free to pass these comments on to your supervisors and use in any marketing materials you might have. They took every carpentry problem as it came up. Both of us want to express again how pleased we are with the outcome of our kitchen remodeling project. As we stated on your follow-up visit, from start to finish, Sears Home Improvement Products has more than exceeded our expectations.
Your design work was remarkable. It's nice having double the cabinet space from what we had before and accomplishing it in the limited existing space that we had to work with. I was truly tired of hearing my wife say, “We have no room for anything... Where am I going to put all this stuff?”. The kitchen installation assistant, Loretta Cudney, did a great job; no one was in anyone's way and things got done exactly when she said they would. The installer, Steve, did an outstanding job, and is truly a professional craftsman. My wife said she has never seen anyone work as hard as he did and I fully agree. The electrician, Mike, was a credit to his profession... What a quality job! Having the added outlets around the kitchen is nice and the upgrade to 200-amp service was long overdue. The plumber who was in and out so quickly one afternoon did a great job too! The cabinets look great with the new appliances and most importantly, they function as they are supposed to! We had a lot of family and friends over during the holidays, and they couldn't believe the difference. One of our neighbors, who had their kitchen remodeled about a year ago, said they liked our kitchen much better. I did get the exposed walls done just before Christmas (my small part) and attached is a photo showing everything completed.
All of you were wonderful; Sears should be very proud and is lucky to have such good quality people representing them. The degree of professionalism displayed and the quality of work was truly outstanding. Thanks for exceeding our expectations with this project. We will never go to anyone else for any future purchases or home improvements. As you know, your best advertising is a very satisfied customer and we have indeed become that customer for Sears...

It is indeed a pleasure to be writing this letter of commendation regarding the outstanding workmanship of Rob Andrade, an installer for Sears. In your introductory letter from Sears there is a statement about the “training and extensive experience of the installer that will ensure “complete satisfaction”. Well, Dennis, this is an understatement as far as Rob Andrade is concerned!
Rob walked me through each and every detail of the kitchen cabinet refacing project. He asked me about my preferences regarding specific parts of the cabinetry and communicated with me every single day. He arrived when he said he would. He was very efficient in his time management also. He was immaculate in his daily clean up of the kitchen. There was never any residual saw dust left after he finished for the day. He has a work ethic beyond compare! Sears should be most proud of sending him out into the public domain. He represents the company very well. He is respectful of the customer, tidy in his work style, and pays very close attention to detail during the entire project. I have extremely high standards and as a rule, I am not an easy customer. Rob met those standards, all the while being a true professional.
A competitor, Kitchen Magic, installed our kitchen countertop. The nightmare lasted six long weeks of being forgotten about with false promises. So when we contracted with Sears to do this refacing project, I had a very low level of trust for kitchen contractors and I told Rob this. He rebuilt my trust and made my kitchen come alive! The kitchen never looked so great! He went above and beyond the call of duty! He worked quietly and was most diligent about how beautiful he wanted this kitchen to become. The transformation from ugly to beautiful was amazing! I have Rob Andrade to thank for this.
Not only is Rob a highly trained, experienced installer, but he is also a true gentleman. I would be most appreciative if you would pass this letter on to Rob, and also to Scott Doughman. Congratulations, Dennis, in identifying the perfect installer, Rob Andrade, to meet my high standards as a consumer. Mr. Bob Greco, from the Doral office in Miami, was proficient, honest, timely and very attentive to all of our needs.
In addition to the excellent service from the Sears team involved in my project, the general contractor was professional, excellent in his workmanship and proficient to say the least. I would hire Sears over and over again because of their excellent customer care.

I commend two Sears Customer Service Associates who excel in their profession: Mr. Bob Kegley and Mr. Troy Navin. In June of this year, I contracted Sears Home Improvement Products to inquire about replacing some faulty hinges on kitchen cabinet fronts. After several phone calls I was finally referred to Mr. Kegley, the area representative for Evanston, IL.
Despite steep obstacles - the job dates back to 1994, the contractor (American Remodeling Inc.) went into bankruptcy and the hinges in question are a discontinued item - Mr. Kegley willingly undertook the task of locating the items and delivering them to me at no charge. It took 3 months but he and Troy Navin stuck to it, keeping me informed of their progress all along the way.
I am totally impressed and quite pleased with the considerate, professional and competent work of these men. I hope that their virtues are recognized in your corporate family.
I have used Sears contractors to remodel the kitchen, replace the shingle roof and replace every window in the house. Every project was on time and budget and totally satisfactory,

Attila, the artist who came to do the job. We will never forget his extraordinary attention to minimize disruptions, his impeccable timeliness, his gentle and polite attitude, his helpfulness, his total dedication to do the job right. He left his humble signature on all those small details one only notices weeks later with gratitude.
We also need to say that the crew of Euro Surfaces did an excellent job with the installation of the ZODIAQ countertops. It's a great quality stone and the Mystic Black color is stunning. It sparkles like stars in the night sky.

Dear Mr. Chapple,
I am writing to let you know how thrilled I am with my new kitchen. I recently had Sears reface my kitchen cabinets and now my kitchen looks like it's out of a magazine. People who had seen my kitchen before the refacing say they cannot believe how gorgeous and how much better it now looks. I've had many friends and family members ask me if the cabinets were brand new. They wanted to know who installed them.
I also want to commend you on the staff members. Before I called Sears, I called another company to get an estimate on redoing my cabinets. The representatives I spoke to were abrupt and at one point, quite rude. I told them that their negative attitude was costing them a sale, but they didn't seem to care. When I complained about the representatives, I received a curt email from one of the company's managers. I will make sure to tell all of my friends who are thinking of redoing their kitchens to avoid that company. Instead, I will direct them to Sears, where everyone from the salesman to the project coordinator was fantastic. That other company needs to take a lesson from the people you have working for you. I had a great time talking to the salesman, Jeff Kowarsky, who was so pleasant. I agreed to have Sears do the refacing at our first meeting. Tony Bell, the installer was great too. He finished the project in three days with very little disruption to my family. Like Jeff, he was pleasant and nice to deal with when he was here. He was very neat and left the kitchen just the way he found it. Scott Reindholdt, the project coordinator, couldn't have been nicer. He took the project over from another manager just before my project began and made sure everything was seamless. I had explained to him that I have two small children and was about to have a knee operation and needed the project to be finished within a certain time frame. Scott bent over backwards to make sure that my project started on time and finished before my surgery. He answered all my questions and kept me apprised of what was going on with the project every step of the way. Thanks again for making this such a great experience. Sears Home Improvement Products just completed my kitchen cabinets and I had to write you to tell you how thrilled I am! The entire team of workers did an absolutely excellent job! Particular praise goes to Project Consultant, Mr. Ricardo Diez Pena. If it were not for Mr. Diez Pena, I would not have signed with Sears. I was a bit skeptical since I didn't know Sears' kitchen work and it's a big investment. My only knowledge with Sears was with the department stores. I had to go on instinct and trust Mr. Diez Pena. Despite my reservations, endless questions, phone calls and emails, Mr. Diez Pena was the consummate professional throughout. On his first visit, he spent 5 hours reviewing all the aspects of the job and the choices. He rendered a detailed floor plan design and was happy to accommodate some changes of selections I initially had. He addressed all my concerns, patiently followed through on each and every issue I brought to bear and was a gentleman. I will be singing Sears' praises to one and all - and will recommend Sears Home Improvement Products without reservation!
