Although I am not exactly sure how SEARS recognizes special achievements of their employees, I would like to recognize Mr. Robert Smith and Mr. Scott Sanchez, whose efforts have not gone unnoticed. As you are well aware, I am the owner of the home located at the enclosed address. It seemed to me that all was lost and that I would be stuck with a system that was not fully operational. After a year of frustration in dealing with American Mechanical, Mr. Smith stepped in and took charge. Mr. Smith took the time to come out to our home to ascertain the problems that existed. He brought in a local contractor from Atlantic Heating and Cooling to obtain fair and reliable data.
As soon as he arrived, he went right to one of the problems. A hot water heater that was attached to the boiler, which as I was told, was a major reason why our oil bill had more than doubled from the previous year. As stated on the contract, it should have been an electric water heater. Based on the other recommendations from Atlantic Heating and Cooling and his own observations, Mr. Smith ordered the repair of the duct work, heating and cooling systems, and corrected electrical wiring and circuit breaker problems. It took Mr. Smith two weeks to properly correct a problem that I have been dealing with for over a year. If it were not for his efforts, we would still be paying twice as much for our oil and electric bills. Mr. Smith personifies excellence and serves as a role model for others to emulate.
My family and I would like to personally thank Mr. Smith for his dedication and commitment not only to SEARS, but also to the many customers that he serves. Please pass on to Mr. Robert Smith and Mr. Scott Sanchez our sincerest appreciation for all they have done for us.

I am writing in reference to the installation of an Infinity heating and cooling system just completed yesterday, 06/27/06, Job #5620603. I have been pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of all the people that I dealt with. The salesman, Kirk Cavitt did leave a couple of items off of the contract, but when we talked to him, he immediately told the Sears supervisor that everything that I brought up was agreed upon with no hassle. The installing contractor, David Nicely, was one of the most professional and friendly contractors that I have run across in a long time. Every bit of the installation was done in a professional and neat manner. I did devil him and his helper about wearing out all of my brooms with his continuous cleaning up (and this in an unfinished section of my basement). This interaction with Sears reminds me of the Sears of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Congratulations!

I recently contacted Sears Home Improvement Products and spoke with John Cervenyak. I asked him to send a salesman to meet me and give me a new quote for an AC unit. Shortly thereafter, a sales rep, Kevin Sharkey called and set up a time that fit my schedule. Kevin promptly showed up on time, took measurements, surveyed the area and then sat down with me and went over the type of unit that would best fit my needs based on cost, warranty, and service. He also offered attractive affordable terms with financing and a service contract should I want to have yearly preventative maintenance on the unit.
John Cervenyak called again and set up the date of installation which was just a couple of days from the time I signed the contract.
requested Joseph M. Tabuso of Tabuso Construction Company to install my unit. He has installed several other AC and gas forced air furnaces over the past years on several of my rental units. I was delighted to learn that Mr. Tabuso was still a sub-contractor for Sears. Continuity speaks volumes. The follow-up was done by Ron Kepes. He wanted to make sure that everything was done to my complete satisfaction and that I was pleased with all of the people associated with the job.
Kudos to the management team of Sears for the customer service plan in place targeted for the satisfied customer! But the plan wouldn't work if you didn't have the professional people in place to carry out the task! From the first person of contact, to the last, my purchase experience at Sears has been nothing less than outstanding! They are professional, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. I am writing to tell you about the outstanding service I experienced in relation to the home installation I had done last weekend of a Carrier Infinity 96 furnace and cooling system. Appropriately, I should add here, the Project Consultant, Mr. Kevin Sharkey, was more than knowledgeable and polite - as were you, the coordinator, in quickly accommodating me in arranging for this purchase and installation. From the moment the installer, Mr. Joseph Tabuso arrived at my home, it became abundantly clear that his business was to accomplish a high quality Sears installation, not hastily, but efficiently and with professional precision.
He explained to me the steps he would take, and thoroughly answered my questions about the procedure and the outcomes. He was dependable and attentive about the times he reported, and gave the impression - in fact, he once stated -- that “he liked his work” and that was clear by the attention to detail he demonstrated. In particular, there were two instances that Mr. Tabuso called my attention to problem areas that could have resulted in serious safety issues for me. One involved an imperfect radon installation and another the detached hose on my dryer which could have become fatal. These are notable because both are only collaterally related to the completion of his task, and careless workers might have ignored them. Though he continued his work, he called my attention to these dangers, and recommended that I address them immediately. For that alone, I am most satisfied. And most important to you, it has affirmed my trust in Sears and the caliber of professionals they hire. The installation looks superb. I will recommend Sears to my sister who has also recently relocated in this area and will be making similar decisions about major purchases. I hope Mr. Tabuso is commended.

I recently purchased and had installed a new 80,000 BTU Carrier 3-Stage Gas Furnace, to replace my existing 23 year old Lennox Model. I took time to research gas furnaces from all companies such as Lennox, Heil, Trane and a host of others, and I ultimately chose Carrier for the new 3Stage Operation. I contacted Sears and a Sears Representative from Rochester, New York, came to my home to arrange it all. The rep's name is Mr. Tom Bewley and he was terrific. I am disabled and am unable to speak but Mr. Bewley took great patience in dealing with my handicap. It was so nice to deal with Sears as I'm an old time Sears shopper. Your company should consider itself very fortunate to have representatives with such high class as Mr. Tom Bewley. Please pass my sincere thanks on to the Rochester, New York office, in particular, Mr. Tom Bewley's boss. Customer Satisfaction on the scale of what I received is indeed a rare occasion these days.
